Is there a way to add something to the water bowl? My kitty will not cooperate! Ugh!
For years already I just scrape the tartar of my cat’s teeth with a small flat metal tool that is also used in dental work for humans.
You can buy it on the internet.
Much more effective than a brush, you can do it like once a week, and the cats get used to it quickly.
I didn’t try it in dogs, but I would imagine it is easier because their mouth opens wider.

Green tea is toxic for cats….Because it contains caffeine and theobromine, are toxic to cats which can lead to serious health problems.
