  1. Hey everyone! What’s your favorite litter and why? Let us know!
We’ve noticed a lot of passionate, informative comments about the harmful effects of declawing. This is a controversial practice with a host of negative effects and the mention of declawing in this video was not meant to condone or normalize the surgery. If anyone would like more details on declawing and how it affects cats, you may be interested in our article on the subject: https://www.wwwallaboutcats.com/declawing-cats

  2. I just got into an argument with my lazy wife who says she does not have a problem with her cats litter box using tidy cats non clumping litter. I know that she changes the litter infrequently though only her cat uses that pan but just the same its non clumping ant the urine is not carries away by piss faries. I told her that I noticed that the small urine clumps just fall apart and this is what’s causing the odor from my cat boxes if they are not completely changed weekly and the pan cleaned by washing periodically. In one ear and out the other. She complains about weight. She is a poor housekeeper and will walk past messes as if they don’t exist. What can I say. After 26 years its not the hill to die on. I just bought some clumping litter to be delivered for the boxes i change to see the difference. If she cant smell the urine in her bathroom, not my problem. Ill deal with my own crap, literally.

  3. Equine bedding isn’t just “significantly cheaper” it’s LIGHT YEARS cheaper. You can buy a 40 pound bag at Tractor Supply for $7 and it will last you almost 9 months. I do recommend the special litter box, though.

  4. I’ve tried the Arm and Hammer Cat Litters and they work well, but they all have a strange slight perfumy fragrance that I dislike.

  5. I’m wondering why choose to pour the litter into the box from 3 feet up. Of course it’s going to be dusty from that height. Pour out the litter from the lowest level possible and, voila, virtually no dust.
